Fireplace Tile Surround. Beautiful full
set of Kensington and American Encaustic Tiles from a c. 1880 fireplace.
The portrait tiles, of a man and a woman, are marked Kensington on the
back. The rest of the tiles are marked AET Tile Company. See photos
below for details. These are in very good condition with the exception
of a chip out of the woman's head tile. There is also a bit of surface
pitting to a few of the AET Tiles. $595 set.
