A Note about the springs in these
vintage mail slots: Most of the springs on these old letter slots have
been sprung one too many times. We have found that it is not difficult to
create a new spring out of malleable steel wire, available at any hardware
store. If you prefer to purchase one with an intact original spring,
please call to ask us about the spring in your preferred one prior to
purchasing. We offer no guarantees on the springs in these vintage
mailslots. |
